Each team will be allotted one-weekday practice and one-weekend practice during the Fall season. The weekend practice times will continue throughout the season, but the weekday practice will discontinue once games begin.
Depending on the league and the number of teams, each team will have one hour on the field and 30 minutes in the batting tunnel/cage. If time is available, we can extend the time on the field but that will be determined at the coach's meeting.
The days and times are chosen by the head coach at the coach's meeting which is usually held by the middle of August. The coach may choose to change the practice times but it is advisable to schedule the change with the main office to ensure the field time is available. Lights are not available for practice times. The only exception to this will be if games are being conducted at the same time we will turn on the lights if requested but it is not guaranteed once the games are over. Another exception may be when a league just has too many teams to conduct practices during the week and we need to have a later practice. This is avoided as much as possible but sometimes it can not be avoided.
Players are encouraged to attend all practices but we know "life happens" and missing a practice can happen and players will not be penalized for missing a few practices. Please contact your coach if you feel you need to miss a practice.
Coaches, contact the main office if you have a player or players that are missing a lot of practices and/or not communicating with you.
