Senior Baseball Games at St. Matthews

Senior Baseball Games at St. Matthews

Our Senior BB League typically play some games against St. Matthews Senior League as both our league and theirs are usually too small to just play against each other.  Here are some details:

ST. MATTHEWS LOCATION
Voll field. It’s the Trinity stadium (350 Ten Pin Lane). Behind the shopping center, all of the way to the right ad you come in Ten Pin Lane from Shelbyville Road. We are NOT playing on McCandless field which is behind the bowling alley. Both fields are turf, but we are on the larger one.

RULES
We will play by Lyndon rules when they play at Lyndon but by St. Matthews Rules when we play there.  At the time of the writing of this article, the following are the differences in rules they have as compared to ours:
  1.  I believe they play 8 run per inning rule.
  2. They play by the current HS bat rule in what is permitted to use.
  3. They may mix and match their players from the three teams (we can as well as needed)
STANDINGS
These games will not affect your Lyndon League Standings
