Players Switching Teams

Switching from one team to another team in the same league is usually only possible if done before the draft at the coach's meetings.  Once the players have been placed/assigned to a team most rosters are full and to move a player to another team would require a player from that team to be moved to your current team.  A sort of trade.  As you can imagine, this becomes more and more difficult once players are contacted as to the teams and coaches they will be playing for.  

Moving players after the coach's meetings can rarely happen but usually if there is a mistake of some sort in the original assignment.  This is very rare.
