TEAM CHECKLIST FOR COACHES | SPRING SEASON | COACHES

  1. Register on the website as a Head Coach. 
    1. You can do this on your account.   If you need help, let me know.
  2. Assign an Official Assistant Coach.
    1. With the new request rules, this isn't as important but if you want them to be included in team correspondences, that is fine.  Let me know.
    2. However, the Official Assistant coach can be assigned by the Head Coach without the player request.
  3. Request your team Name.
    1. Returning teams have priority with their team name if they want to keep the same name.  
    2. All others need to submit three team names they want on the Team Name Google Sheet.  (Use your league)
  4. Schedule your practice times.  
    1. There are multiple steps.  See the Practice Onboarding for more details.
  5. Pick up your Practice Equipment.
    1. More information on what you receive and how to schedule a time to pick up your equipment can be found on the Practice Equipment Page Here.
  6. Secure a Team Sponsor.
    1. This is the responsibility of the Head Coach but I can help when needed.  Let me know.
    2. Team Sponsors are due 2 weeks prior to opening day but earlier is very very encouraged.

  7. Contact your Parents.  DO THIS AS SOON AS YOU CAN!
    1. The earlier the better to resolve any issues.
    2. You will receive an email with the contact information for your parents.  If you don't see it, check your spam.  If it is just an into email, do that as soon as you can.
    3. It is likely you will receive updated rosters with additions or changes.  Watch for them and contact your new players once you receive the new roster.
    4. Remember, you can not respond directly to this roster email.  You have to send a direct email.
  8. You will be contacted when your uniforms are ready but you can track this and other important tasks on the Team Information Page.
    1. If you see anything inaccurate on the Team Information Page, let me know.
