SPRING SEASON
The coaches have the responsibility of contacting the players they have on their rosters however, the process is pretty time consuming.  It is:
  1. Registration process begins January 1st usually.
  2. Then about the 20th of March the rosters will start to be put together based on the roster formation rules and processes.
  3. Returning Coaches that return to the same league will receive the first draft of players via email to make sure no players are missing from last year's spring and/or fall teams.
  4. They are given a few days to check and respond.
  5. Then, once we work out any issues, free agents are added based on the league roster formation policies.
  6. Once the rosters are completed with free agents, the coaches are sent a second draft of their whole roster but still are instructed to not contact the parents until we double-check for anyone missing.
    1. This could be; an assistant coaches child, a sibling with a different last name or just simply a mistake.
  7. After a few days, the coaches then will contact their parents.
  8. This, of course, can cause some issues as a parent may catch a mistake as well.  So, it may take a few days again to finalize the roster with any changes.  Ideally, we don't have any changes at this stage but they do happen.
  9. Once we vet the rosters the best we can, we may add some players from the waiting list as needed and then we will make the rosters official and visible on the website.
Timing
  1. For leagues Junior levels and below and also including Intermediate baseball, we hope the coaches can reach out to all players by the last day of March.  There are times this is not possible due to possible coaching changes that does happen sometimes.
  2.  The Intermediate Softball and Senior Baseball leagues begin two weeks later than the other leagues so the rosters will be released to those coaches about a week later than the younger leagues so about April 14th.
  3. Please note that it is usually spring break during that first week of April which complicates things very much as some coaches are on vacation and practice times are really difficult to start that week.
So, other than Intermediate SB and Senior BB, if you have not heard from a coach by about the 2nd or 3rd of April. please complete this form.

Each coach will schedule his/her practice days and will give you this information when he/she contacts you.
